I want to say just how thrilled we are to have Joanne care for our dogs. We have been blessed to have her care for our 2 German Shepherds. After we moved to the area we were so concerned with who was going to care for our not so friendly German Shepherd. We had a wonderful feeling after the 1st time we meet her. Joanne has a great understanding of how difficult it is to sit for and care for an aggressive dog and the attention that is required. Not only did she win Jasper over, but she won us over as well. We are now having her care for our newest German Shepherd. We consider Joanne a friend as well, and thankful we have her in our life.

JoAnne walks and cares for my 84lb golden/lab mix named Effie.
I was referred to her by a neighbor that has two dogs JoAnne cares for.
JoAnne is everything this woman told me she was: professional, reliable,
loves animals, kind, knowledgeable regarding natural pet care, and trust worthy.
We have had some family unexpected emergencies and JoAnne has been
there to help with Effie. What a relief to know I don’t have to worry about her.
I have no reservations when it comes to boarding her at JoAnne’s kennel. I
know that she is loved and cared for. The kennel is a restored horse barn. She is not
locked in a small kennel. She has a suite. There is a pasture that is fenced in that
JoAnne takes her boarders out to play in.
I am so grateful to have JoAnne in our lives. I know Effie is too!

We have two dogs who we adopted several years ago from a southern kill shelter. They have have anxiety when in a traditional kennel setting, and generally have trust issues with strangers. They love Jo Anne though! We are beyond happy that we found her. Roscoe and Tess are actually happy to go into her place! Jo Anne is probably the best “dog” person you’d ever meet, and she has the best setting. Her dog suites are located in a nice barn, and there’s a huge field adjacent to it where dogs run. Jo Anne has a special touch with dogs, and “speaks their language”. Our Roscoe and Tess are happy and relaxed around her. When we are away, not only we know that the guys’ needs are met, but we know that they’re having fun. It’s like a fun summer camp for dogs. ~Zenya Hernandez ~Rich Gray Freedom NH
Jo Anne has helped me so many times with holistic care for my horses. Times when the vets couldn’t figure out what to do with my horses or wanted to jump to harsh medications.
For Royal, she created a blend of herbs to help calm her down and prevent ulcers. Royal absolutely loved it and would eat it straight out of my hand. We kept her on it for months after she traveled and was boarded until we got her home to our own farm. She went from being anxious to safe enough for my husband to ride.
For Belle, Belle just didn’t seem right. She wasn’t happy being ridden anymore. We had the vet come look at her and the vet just jumped straight to suggesting joint injections. At 4, that would set Belle up for needing injections the rest of her life. Jo Anne send me some powdered herbs, within a few days Belle had a light in her eye again. She was excited to be ridden again.
For Xena, Xena was having lameness issues that no vet after many diagnostics could figure out. Jo Anne would come massage and do reiki on Xena to help her with pain. I have never seen a horse fall asleep to the point of laying down in front of someone. It was truly a magical moment.
I have many sale horses come through my farm now. Whenever I have a problem Jo Anne is fast to come up with a solution. I enjoy having a holistic approach to caring for my horses.
